It’s a gorgeous – and fun – time of year in downtown Towson. From the changing leaves on the trees and spooky decorations on the buildings to the terrific new mural being painted on the outside of the library, the town is bustling with energy and good cheer.
There are lots of things for Hampton Plaza Apartments residents to do over the next few weeks, from kiddie crafts to adult trick or treating. Here’s a look at what’s coming up:
Get to the Farmers’ Market while You Still Can!
November is your last chance to grab local produce, drinks, prepared foods, arts, crafts and other goodies from Towson Farmers’ Market vendors. The market pops up on Allegheny Ave. from 10: 45 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursdays. The last day is November 19.
Trivia Tuesdays
Trivia lovers have a few choices around town these days – especially on Tuesdays.
On Tuesday evenings, both World of Beer and C&R Pub host trivia nights. Lots of opportunities to test your knowledge (and enjoy specials while you’re doing it)!
Puppy Party
On Saturday, Oct. 25, Barley’s Backyard Uptown will host a dog-friendly Halloween party on The Rooftop. There will be treats for the pups and a doggie costume contest!
Kid Fun
On Thursday, Oct. 29, The Point hosts a kid-friendly pumpkin painting night. Each ticket includes a seat, a kid’s meal, a pumpkin to paint and other crafts. Plus, there will be food and drink specials for the parents during the event. Fun for the whole family!
Adult Trick or Treat
The same evening, Barley’s will host a trick-or-treat night just for adults, including a costume contest (with prizes) and surprise drink specials.
Halloween Day & Night
Nacho Mama’s welcomes families on Halloween and kids (10 and under) in costume eat free between noon and 7p.m. Plus, there will be candy for the kids – and maybe something for the parents, too.
Café Troia
Instead of a traditional Halloween party, Café Troia is offering a one-night-only special prix fixe menu, including dishes like Kraken Kalamari (fried calamari in squid ink batter) and RIP Risotto (acorn squash risotto).
The Point
At The Point, the party starts at 5 p.m. with drink specials and games. From 9 p.m. until close, DJ Al will be spinning.
